Tait Schroeder, Vicar General, publishes the decree uniting St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Monroe and Brodhead, St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Belleville and Albany, and the portion of St. Isidore Parish in Argyle, to become Christ the King Parish, and the decree uniting St. Bernadette Parish in Barneveld and Ridgeway, St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Mt. Horeb and Perry, and the portion of St. Isidore Parish in Blanchardville, Hollandale, and Yellowstone, to become St. Francis of Assisi Parish, as issued by Most Rev. Donald Hying, Bishop of Madison,and announces the following clergy appointments, all effective Saturday, November 22, 2025, and announced the same day.

St. John Paul II Pastorate will celebrate its patron’s feast day on Wednesday, Oct. 22, with the opportunity to venerate a first-class relic of St. John Paul II. The relic veneration is part of a joint celebration of the feast day and of the Jubilee Year of Hope.
